Shipping & Delivery Disclaimer
All orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. Shipments leave our warehouse daily at approximately 4:00 PM (EST).
UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and other expedited shipping services refer to transit time after the order has left our facility, not the time the order is placed. Orders received after our daily cutoff time or over the weekend will ship the next business day.

If your order is time-sensitive or required by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can recommend the best shipping method for your needs.
Shipping Charges–
Shipping charges are estimated during checkout for orders that are less than 150lbs. that can ship ground via UPS or FedEx. Single items weighing over 150lbs. must be shipped via common carrier (LTL- Less than truckload). In this case, you will be notified of shipping charges and your order will not ship until the charges are confirmed based on the guidelines below.
Freight Guidelines–
Freight charges are based on weight, dimensions and freight class of the commodity, as well as the origin and destination zip code and any accessorials described below.
Accessorials–
Basic accessorials (such as liftgate, limited access*, or notification/appointment delivery) can be included in your freight charges, but Gerharz Equipment, Inc. must be informed of these requirements prior to shipping your order.
Residential equipment delivery** will have additional charges and Gerharz Equipment, Inc. must be informed of this requirement prior to shipping your order.
*Limited Access Location: Any area where pickup or delivery is restricted or limited. This includes, but is not limited to, places of worship, construction sites, storage units and facilities, golf courses, schools, malls, military bases, hospitals and prisons.
**Residential Location: Any home, apartment, or other dwelling where people live on the premise is considered residential.
Delivery Date & Time:
All pallets are shipped common carrier and are curbside delivery only (no inside or white glove deliveries). Typically, shipments are delivered during normal business hours between 8am – 5pm, weekdays. A shipment’s estimated delivery date is determined by the standard number of days established by the carrier’s transit time to that location, but there is not a guarantee date. You will be given tracking information to check your shipment’s status to determine the exact delivery date. If you require an appointment, we must be notified at the time the order is placed. To avoid redelivery fees, it is imperative that all delivery requirements are communicated to Gerharz Equipment, Inc. at the time of ordering.
Redelivery Fees:
In the event that we ship your order without being informed of all shipment requirements, we are not informed or mis-informed regarding ship-to contact information, or you are unavailable to receive your shipment on the delivery date, the shipment may need to be delivered at a later date. If a shipment must be redelivered at a later date for any reason whatsoever, redelivery fees will be assessed and charged prior to the redelivery of the shipment.
Freight Damage:
Please inspect your shipment for freight damage or any other delivery issues prior to signing the delivery receipt or freight bill (POD- Proof of Delivery). If there are any signs of damage, overage or shortage, it must be notated on the delivery receipt or freight bill prior to the carrier leaving. Be as specific as possible regarding the nature of the damage, model#, serial number#, piece count, etc. All possible freight damage and issues must be noted on the delivery document and reported to Gerharz Equipment, Inc. within 72 hours, including concealed damages*.
*Concealed damage: Damage to the contents of a package that is not apparent until the package is opened.
Important: Before signing for any freight delivery, please review our Freight Inspection Guidelines (PDF). This document outlines critical steps to properly inspect shipments, document visible or concealed damage, and ensure claim eligibility. Failure to follow these steps may result in denied claims.
Cancelled Orders:
Orders may only be canceled prior to the shipment notice being issued. All canceled orders are subject to a 2.9% processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, and customers should allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in their account.
Returns:
Returns are not accepted more than 30 days after shipment. No returns will be accepted for any reason without written approval of Gerharz Equipment, Inc.. To request a return authorization, please submit a request through our Contact Us form and include your original order number in the message so our team can review your request. No refunds will be given on shipping charges. Any product returned must be shipped back prepaid. Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking charge in addition to a 2.9% payment processing fee. Food products and food packaging materials cannot be returned. Any items that have been used, assembled, or is not in its original packaging cannot be returned. Custom items are non-returnable.
Damaged and broken item are subject to exchange by Gerharz Equipment, Inc.
